Senior Citizen Instruction

Half of acting is reacting! With this class you will learn to understand and integrate the skills of active Improv. With various games and technique exercises, you will explore the how to's of Improv, like   

listening and response in this Monday afternoon class.  Concludes with a performance for friends and family.   

As we get older, we may think our singing days are over when all that is really needed is better technique. This exciting group class breaks down the mystique and gives step by step instruction to strengthen what we have, while securing our voice for the future.

The dos and don'ts from auditions to closing night.  There are increasing opportunities for Senior Citizen actors on stage and on camera.  All aspects of the beginning of acting will be addressed in this fun and exciting group class.  

As the Baby Boomer generation ages, the call for actors in "on Camera" jobs grow. This class will deal with Onstage and Camera types of Audition practices. Over the length of the session, useful techniques will be given and practiced to increase your likelihood for getting the job.

Scene Study leads to better connection acting. Taking apart the elements of the scenes strengthens the actor's skill in presenting the action and intent that may not always be obvious at first look. This course fortifies an actor's ability to cold read and dive deeper into the drama than ever before.
